Tony Block's Faux Skater
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Tony Block's Faux Skater is a Midwestern skateboarding phenomenon. Play the game that's taking Ohio by storm. Skate around as the iconic tOnY bLoCk and pull off all kinds of sick moves. Featuring:
- Randomly generated and totally accurate* trick names
- Hi Scores to compete with your friends
- Collectable coins worth 100 Tony Points
- A terrifying crash "animation"
- Physics that will make you grind your teeth
- Controls that will make you grind your teeth
- A single bird
- Xbox One controller support (Windows Only)
Tony Block's Faux Skater is pay-what-you-want, so feel free to DL this sucker at no cost. If the game isn't running super well, try turning down the quality settings to Crunchy. Still stuttery? Bump that resolution down.
Real talk - we absolutely could not have made this game without the technical help, creative input and uninvited (but warranted) criticism of Tristan Wright, Joel Evans, Sean Gelwick, Dylan Drooger, Matt Branham, Nat Tracy-Miller, Scott Slucher, Nick Koelhke and Cait Cliff-Perbix.
Also thanks to Tony Hawk's folks for loving this game so much that they named him after our main character, that's real devotion.

I can barely move! I can only do tricks
oh no! Have you tried lowering the quality settings and resolution? Any chance you’re on a laptop?
I am on laptop
We're looking into future optimizations, but in the meantime, definitely try lowering the resolution and setting the quality to "Crunchy" - the post processing effects can be fairly taxing, especially on laptops!
quick update - we fixed this in the most recent build! It was a pesky problem, but all the controls should now work regardless of the frame rate.
I haven't laughed this hard since the "before times."
Do the controls make me grind my teeth in bewilderment? YES.
Was it practically unplayable for me without a controller? Definitely.
Was I laughing my ass off the whole time? Yes again.
